Individual Training Accounts (ITA) are available for those who wish to acquire new skills or upgrade current skills to make them marketable andcompetetive in the workforce.  Based on Demand Occupations in the County and Western New York, we help you put together a plan to reach your career goals.

Currently, our ITAs are up to $5000 per fiscal year, two years maximum.  These grants are accessible by meeting with a Career Specialist, doing an assessment and creating an employment plan. Using the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL), we assist you with choosing a training provider.   You may be eligible for Supportive Services, up to $1000, to cover books and testing fees, if you qualify.

Some of our most popular training programs are those in healthcare and transportation.  We work with area colleges and training facilities, as well as businesses, to increase the skills and talent of our current workers and those who wish to join the workforce.

If you are considering training or college and need help with funding, contact Chautauqua Works Job Center and ask to speak with a Career Specialist to see if you are eligible.
