This workshop discusses the true purpose of a resume, different resume styles, and how to determine the appropriate style for you. You will learn what is appropriate information to cover on your resume vs. what should not be included, the importance of keywords, determining your most transferable and marketable skills, and how to effectively sell yourself in today's job market. We will also cover the proper way to complete an application, and how to write a cover letter that gets you noticed! Please bring completed resumes wth you for an on-the-spot resume critique!

	This workshop utilizes a group discussion to take an in-depth look at the interviewing process and how you can prepare yourself. We will discuss how to use the interview to show the employer you are the most qualified person for the position and that you fit with their company.
